What does a periodontist do?
A periodontist is a dental specialist who focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gum disease and the conditions affecting the structures that support your teeth and dental implants. Periodontal health plays an important role in your overall health — untreated gum disease can contribute to tooth loss, inflammation and bone deterioration.
Dr Hui provides comprehensive periodontal assessments and tailored treatment plans designed to preserve the healthy gum and bone that support your teeth, and improve long-term oral function — with careful consideration of both your dental health and overall well-being.
